Nice but heavy
This watch is very high quality, and its very easy to read. I could read it from across the room. It is however extremely heavy. It felt like I had a brick strapped to my arm. Im not sure that Id want something that heavy on me if I was diving. The strap is nice, but if you

DEPENDING ON THE SIZE OF YOUR WRIST
If you are looking at an Invicta watch, you basically know what you are getting as far as the quality of the product, and you can tell from the picture whether or not this is the style for you. What is not clear from the picture is just how large the face of the watch is, and it is large. It is large enough that a somewhat short and scrawny person like me looks ridiculous in it. The watch has some weight to it, which many of us prefer, but if you are not a rather large person, look for another model. Or maybe hit the gym. This is huge, gaudy and very sturdy. I knew it was gaudy so that was good. I hoped it would be sturdy. But I had no idea how truely huge it would be. This looks just right on a muscular man. Massive
This watch is big, be prepared to receive some attention! At 52mm not including the oversized canteen crown protector, this watch has quite the wrist presence. Additionally, due to a flat caseback, it wears larger than other models of a similar diameter may. If you
e looking for a big watch, then this may be the one for you.
It is solidly constructed, plenty of heft and no play in the lug area or the crown. The second hand hits its mark consistently, and being a quartz movement there is no concern of accuracy. The gold plating seems consistent, and as with other Invicta models should hold up well over time.
The strap is thick, which is both good and bad. There is no concern over the strap failing to hold this beast, but at the same time its thickness and material choice - silicone instead of poly may have been the right choice here makes it less pliable and less conforming to the wrist. For folks with a 7-7.5 wrist, this probably has the perfect wrap, but if you are much smaller or larger than that, the rigid strap may lead to a less than ideal fit. However, if this is a concern for you, don let it stop you from purchasing, numerous 26mm leather straps exist as an option - although bear in mind they will use only one lug pin rather than the two pin model on this watch - just use the holes closest to the case if you do.
All around a very nice watch that just screams look at me, losing a point primarily only due to the strap. :2012-04-07 14:31:22
Huge masculine watch that makes a bold statement 
This is a very attractive watch. If you are a large guy and you want a watch that makes a statement about your masculinity this is it. This watch is huge but on the right person it looks great. If you like BIG diving watches, this one is right up your alley
Theres no denying it, if you want to wear a watch that makes a powerful impression, this is the one to choose. I was speaking with a coworker and in mid-sentence he cut me off to ask about this watch.
This is not a small timepiece by any means. Ive uploaded a few photos in the Customer Images section so you can see what it looks like.
The directions were very simple - just turn the connecting cap counter-clockwise until the crown is exposed. Pull the crown out one stop, adjust the time, then push the crown back in. Screw the cap back on clockwise, and you
e ready to go.
When charged by an external light source, the face of the watch and the hour/minute hands are visible in low light conditions. I was also pleased to find a polishing cloth was included.
The only negative that came to mind was the chain connecting to the crown cap. It can get underneath the watch backing and cause irritation. I feel this will be the first thing to break on the watch but thankfully, there is an optional 5-year warranty from Invicta - they clearly believe in their product and are willing to stand behind its craftsmanship.

GINORMOUS. GORGEOUS
I was astounded by the size of this thing, but also by the beauty of it. I wanted to keep it for myself but I dislocated my shoulder after I had it on for about an hour. LOL I don think it looks cheap at all as some of the other reviewers have stated. It is a big watch but it also looks very capable and elegant. I think it works best with certain outfits but it looks good on your arm anyway, anyhow. I recommend it for someone who loves big watches and isn afraid to work because this is also very durable. Great watch
Damn good watch
PROS:
looks great on me, i am an average sized guy 6 190lbs, gets compliments everywhere, people tell me it is too flashy sometimesim not black, pretty scratch proof
CONS:
The bigass dial bumps into the base of the top of your hand when your hand is bent if wearing on the left hand I know it is convention to wear on the left, it is more comfortable on the right. polyurethane strap sometimes catches hair, but its a watch. oh well.
