Amazon.com Product Description Featuring a black ion-plated stainless steel case, a black rubber and ion-plated bracelet, Swiss-quartz movement, and water-resistance to 1,640 feet (500 meters), this Swiss-made timepiece is able to track elapsed time with the use of three subdials. Nestled at the 4 o'clock position is a useful date window. With its stealth-like appearance, this watch is ready for any adventure. Subaqua Collection Led with expert engineering, and always ready to face the depths, no feat or occasion will ever be too great for Invicta's Subaqua to handle. The sheer magnitude of this mighty timepiece is superbly executed with surgical-grade solid stainless steel, Swiss quartz or Swiss automatic movements, and multiple color options of ionic plating. Managing up to 500 meters of water, finished off with a unidirectional rotating bezel, integrated shock resistance, and Invicta's luminous Trinite hands, the Subaqua is the diver's definitive in negotiating any adventure by sea or by land. Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

User Reviews
Extremely Pleased I am an incurable watch nut (several Rolex, Panerai, Ulysses Nardin, Corum, Chronoswiss, etc.) and all I can say is "Wow" -- this watch exceeded my expectations. I ordered this Invicta with some trepidation after reading several negative reviews however I am extremely pleased. Pictures do not do this watch justice. The fit and finish of this Invicta is comparable to many high-end watches and it is hard to believe the price you can buy this watch for. The retail price of $1995 is consistent with the quality of the product. It is a big, substantially-made watch (2" x 3/4") but is well-balanced, therefore comfortable to wear. I can't find one thing to be disappointed about . . . I am extremely pleased :2011-08-20 13:12:48
great watch I was going to buy the combat edition of this watch but, when the price droped on this one I got this one instead and after seeing on it's arrival all I can say is I'm very happy. looks great , good heft and size, works well.
I love it. :2011-08-20 13:12:30
Beautiful! Amazing watch and to agree with everyone else, it's by far the largest watch I own. Fits nicely, is comfortable, and looks fearsome. Very study and the rubber strap is very durable. This bezel is actually gunmetal, and there is a hint of blue surrounding the dial, which gives it a nice touch.
Only issue I have is that my second hand (one used for chronograph mode) stays at the 58 second mark, as opposed to the traditional 0/60, 12 o'clock mark. Do you all know if this is a standard on the watch, or do I need to get it fixed or re-calibrated? Any feedback would be helpful, thanks! :2011-08-20 13:12:11
Nice Chrono I was never a big fan of chronographs, and in general, I'm still not, but this watch makes everything work.
It is large, heavy, and well-balanced. Mine is a different finish (silver), but has held up to multiple bumps and scrapes with no visible scratching or wear marks. All the screws are tight and the bezel and screw-downs for the side-buttons have not rattled or bumped loose. The band is thick, smooth, and the buckle arm is very good at simply "popping out" of the band hole once the band is pulled, as opposed to some rubber watch bands that require significantly greater effort to remove the arm. The buckle arm and band lines are uniform and the holes uniform in size. The double loops are slightly stiff at first, but will loosen a bit over time.
I use this for everyday wear and not for diving. Given the weight, I will not use it for hiking, trekking, etc. My wrist is 8+" in diameter, and if you go much smaller than that, this watch will create a noticeable visual disparity with your wrist. I do not often wear it with a dress shirt due to the overall thickness of the case. The illumination after bathing it in bright light is impressive...not just the hands and markers, but it seems to retain a fainter light ring where the tachymeter markings are located. The face appears easy to read at all light levels. This is my go-to casual/business casual watch. I purchased this at a membership-required warehouse store, and paid less than any price I have seen on any website, so it was definitely worth the price for the quality and functionality. :2011-08-20 13:11:51
Better Than Expected I actually bought this watch by mistake while browsing Invicta watches on Amazon. I accidentally tapped the 2-day shipping button on my iPhone's mobile internet version of Amazon which enabled the instant purchase function. I decided to let the order go through, so I could check out the watch in person once it arrived. I was debating between the 6043 Noma III and the 6545 Noma IV. I intended to return the 6043 so I could order the 6545, but once the 6043 Noma III arrived and I took it out of the box, I was blown away by its size and stature. The pictures on Amazon and other places on the net do NOT do it justice. I'm not returning it.
It is a sight to behold once you have it in your hands, and yes, it is a pretty hefty timepiece. I'm 5'8" tall and a former competitive bodybuilder, and my wrist these days is best suited for a 7.5" band, but this watch fits me fine without looking like I'm wearing a Texas belt buckel on my arm. I'm normally given to buying watches with metal bands, as opposed to leather or rubber (except for my heart rate monitor watches), but the rubber band on this watch is done very nicely. In fact, today is day one wearing it at work, and I actually prefer its rubber strap over any of my other metal band watches. I have a desk job, and do a lot of typing. The rubber band is much nicer on the desk than my metal banded watches which clank and whose finishes get rather worn from frequent resting on the desk. The band also nicely transitions from rubber to the metal of the actual watch case by integrating diamond-grid metal inserts into it near its juncture with the watch case. These pieces match the diamond-grid of the sides of the watch case and are why the pictures show additional screws in the sides of the band up near where the main pivot screw is located where the case fastens to the band. The polished metal clasp of the band is also very nicely done. Love the finish. Because of how it fastens on the band, it is actually off-set from being in the center of the inside of the wrist when worn which prevents its finish from getting worn on desk surfaces.
As for the actual time piece itself, again the pictures don't do it justice. The picture gives the impression that the face is a series of gold dots and shapes. In reality, the face is a mesh made of small holes of a gun-metal colored material. The gold seen in the picture are the internals of the watch mechanism itself. The small dials on the watch face are each individual pieces of metal that lay on top of the mesh surface. The most stark of these is the gold second-hand dial which is actually a series of three separate rings of metal -- all very nicely done. The depth of the watch face from the crystal to the tachymeter ring looks to be about 3/16" deep. The tachymeter is roughly 1/16" above the watch face mesh. The crystal appears to be roughly 1/16" thich as well. The bezel ring turns counter clockwise with a clicking preset of each small increment that it is moved. The knobs on the watch are all very nicely done as well and function the same as most other chronographs of this sort with locking screws around the actual center buttons. The "clip" across the main knob snaps cleanly into the closed position and opens just as easily to allow the main now to be unscrewed in a counter-clockwise rotation to allow it to be pulled out once for adjusting date and twice for the time.
The large second hand only moves during chronograph operation to allow use of the tachymeter. The small dial at the 9 o'clock position is a 30-minute designator for chronograph operation. The small dial at 6 o'clock is a 1/10 of a second designator. The small dial at 3 o'clock is the second designator. It rotates during normal watch operation as well as during chronograph.
Just inside the bezel ring, there are Tritnite circles that illuminate in the dark once they have absorbed sufficient light. The triangles on the screw holders on the bezel ring at 60, 20, and 40 also glow.
The yellow box in which this watch is sold is also very nice -- not that I intend to keep it in there. Still, nice box. I'm sure I paid for it.
All in all, this is a very striking watch that is much more impressive in person than in the pictures. So far, no issues. I'm very impressed by it. If I run into any issues, I'll be sure and update my review accordingly.

Talk about a heavy watch I have never bought invicta watches before. So I was really looking forward to try this watch on. When I recieved it, it looked great in the case. It looked so chunky and meaty. But when I picked up the watch, it was heavy and I knew that my wrist were going to take some battering. I was right. I wore it on my left wrist and it became sore and slightly swollen in about 6hours. So I decided to wear it on my right wrist where it actually sits fine and looks awesome. It is a great watch to wear on a night out but I dont recommend it to be worn as an everyday watch. Dont get me wrong here though. I throughly recommend this watch but not as an everyday wear. It has a very manly look about it. For example you have to unhook the lever to use the crown. And you have to unscrew the lock to use the chronograph function. I love that. I dont mind the rubber strap on the watch either. In the end if you dont mind a heavy watch with a rubber strap, this is for you. It is sooo not worth the recommended price of $1995 but it is definetly worth more than $249. I paid $249 for it and I think that this is good value for money :2011-08-20 13:10:54
Love Invictas I have said in ealier posts that I am an avid collector of Invicta watches. I am a larger guy (6'3, 275) and like a big clunky watch. I get a ton of compliments on this model. The all black rubber strap with teh dark graphite accents are real sharp looking. Very Durable. :2011-08-20 13:10:33
WOW.... This watch is absolutely beautiful, i have several Invicta watches and they are all beautiful, the hardest part is on deciding which one to wear. It is a big and heavy watch but very comfortable to wear. the finish will wow you, the picture does not do it justice. :2011-08-20 13:10:03
A Real Bargin.... A Great Watch....Go For It! This watch will astound you for the fact it is immense and bold, but this timepiece is incredibly comfortable on the wrist. To my astonishment the watch is very well balanced and the screw-down crown with safety clasp doesn't bite into your skin like other large 50MM Invicta's. At first I was hesitant concerning the rubber strap as all my watches have metal bands; but adjusting this timepiece to your wrist is a breeze compared to the metal link bands that must always be removed and/or adjusted by a jeweler. The MSRP for this watch is listed at $1,995.00 (way over-priced); paid $229.00 with Amazon with no tax and free shipping. I shopped around, online and in retail stores for this particular model and the cheapest I found was $400.00 plus tax. This should be a rugged timepiece that will probably endure any punishment it is subjected too. In my opinion one of the best deals Amazon has ever offered on this class of timepiece being "Swiss Made" offered by Invicta. Also, this chronograph watch is "Swiss Made" (Not Swiss Movement), Flame Fusion Crystal, Swiss Quartz Movement, Water Resistant to 500 meters (1640 feet), Screw Down Crown w/safety clasp, Screw Down Pushers, Surgical Stainless Steel Case with limited links...all coated black (gun metal), Unidirectional Rotating Bezel and Luminous Display Trinite Hands. This should say a lot for the quality you are getting for the price this particular watch is being offered. Simply put; The Invicta Men's Subaqua Noma III Chronograph #6043.....A Fantastic Timepiece at an Extraordinary Price!!! :2011-08-20 13:09:41
First class watch A first class watch. Looks stunning and despite its size and weight sits very easily on the wrist. Swiss made too and once this watch gets more prominence (as Panerai and U Boat did) the prices will rocket. :2011-08-20 13:09:15
Great Timepiece This is my third Subaqua Noma, and as with the others, I have not been disappointed.
Solid construction, great looks, and wears easy for a large watch. At this particular price point ($229, I don't think too many other watches can compete, particularly ones that are of Swiss origin. I would highly recommend this watch to others. :2011-08-20 13:08:52
big is beautiful This watch is huge! It fits my wrist comfortably, and being in gun metal, doesn't look as big on the wrist as does a silver subaqua. The price from Amazon($229), was way below anything on line, even SHOPNBC's sale price.Be on the lookout for Amazon's "Invicta weekly sale", can't be beat. You also get an extended 5 year warranty, free, just like SHOPNBCInvicta Men's Subaqua Collection Noma III Chronograph Black Ion-Plated and Rubber Watch #6043 :2011-08-20 13:08:33
Release the Kraken This watch is not subtle. It does more than tell time. Its a statement. Its huge, macho, attention getting, and totally inappropriate for candle-light scenarios. You're wearing it, and going places of emotional depth and height at velocity...
The price is, I think, extremely low for the rush of wearing this piece. I've got an Invicta Subaqua 4369 that looks great with a suit (a very dark suit); this piece is totally sports, action, and zoom. Don't buy it as gift (except for yourself) for someones who's gonna leave in the box...
This is the watch Perseus would have worn while he waited, watching the waves crash against the rocks; the crystal has this weird blue glow that is kind of mystical, don't you think? :2011-08-20 13:08:13
Extraordinary watch This watch will surprise you. It is huge and steel, which usually means ungainly. To my surprise it is incredibly well balanced and has a very wide band. The result, I hardly notice it on my wrist. Very comfortable. Very good looking. I would recommend it for those with an 8" wrist, but simply for aesthetic reasons. The luminescent material needs an initial charge of bright light. But thereafter works very well (and I am rather insistent on this in a daily use watch). It will retain its glow all night. It is always subtle though and does not look like a fireworks display. At this price it is a watch that one really should get. It is a definite find. :2011-08-20 13:07:54
Great deal on an Invicta Subaqua III Limited Ed. I've had this watch a little over a month now,and I still can't get over the fit and finish of this watch. It is a mean machine, very fierce looking to say the least.I have other Subaqua Noma III watches, but this has to be my favorite, every day watch.I own Breitling Chronomats, and many others. But for the money,Invicta Quartz,or Automatics are simply a great value, period. Also you get a five year warranty with Invicta which is in itself peace of mind.Go for it.It's a monster. :2011-08-20 13:07:40
Exactly I am an avid collector of high end watches (Breitling, Rolex and Tag) as well as excellent moderate watches including Oakley Minute Machine. This watch has every bit of the cosmetic finish and flare of high end watches with the movement of moderate watches. This particualr watch looks very much like the picture but also has a even better appearance in person.
Size matters...my wrist is about an 8"or9" (use a tape measure) and if you are in that range I see no problem with the watch. Otherwise it may look odd but thats what some may want anyway. Very comfortable band and case. It is aggressive looking but understated since it is a dark watch. Packaging and shipping was perfect from Amazon.
I would highly recommend this watch as your everyday or fun watch. Primarily it lives up to what I have saw prior to purchase and is made well considering the price point and looks much more expensive than the price point.

Great Watch and Great Service Ok.... first things first. Amazon is one of the best places to shop for bargains on the internet period. I ordered this watch at 4:00 PM on a Thurs. and it was at my front door at 4:04 PM on Fri. You can't beat that. I originally found this watch at Sams club for $459+tax. I bought it off of Amazon for $246 with free next day shipping. I'm not sure where the extra discount came from (since it was supposed to be $289) but I'm certainly not complaining.
Now to the watch. This watch in person is beautiful. It is a dark gun-metal gray (Not Black) and the attention to detail is amazing. The MSRP is $1995 which is total BS but in all honesty.... this watch is worth much more than the $246 I paid for it. So.. that said.... I am a watch geek. I have Breitling, Omega SeaMaster, and Tag Heuer SLR watches. I was in the market for a watch that was functional and heavy duty. I work as a Professional Firefighter in one of the busiest cities in the south and needed a watch that would stand up to the stress of firefighting duties. I did not want to put one of my "front line" watches in harms way but I needed a watch that would hold up to the stresses of firefighting duties. This Invicta watch fills the bill quite nicely. In fact I tend to wear this watch more than my other watches because I enjoy the look and feel more than the others. Very rarely do I go somewhere that someone doesn't ask me about this watch. This watch is HEAVY no doubt but that is one of the major draws in my opinion. It weights almost 1lb which is almost unheard of. It feels as solid as a brick and weighs about as much. If you are looking for a lightweight stealthy watch this one is not for you. You will know it is there every second of the day but to me that is the major selling point. I love feeling a watch on my wrist and believe me...... you will feel this one.
So far the movement and chronograph have worked flawlessly and I could not be happier with this watch.
Bottom line:
If you are looking for a watch that will get you noticed then buy this watch.
If you are looking for a dependable watch that will hold up to the rigors of everyday life then buy this watch.
If you want a stealthy watch that no one notices..... Don't even think about getting this watch
If you are a girlie man then please don't buy this watch.... you won't be able to lift your wrist to see what time it is and you will make the rest of us look bad.
Beautiful watch and beautiful workmanship. May not be the best watch on the market but you will feel like you purchased one of the best at a steal. Worth every penny and Highly Recommended!
