Amazon.com Product Description Striking in black and silver, the luxurious Invicta Subaqua Collection Chronograph Watch stands out from other men's watches. This stunning timepiece is crafted with black ion-plated stainless steel, which is featured on the unidirectional bezel and screw-down crown with protective cover. Framed by a tachymeter, the black watch face features luminous hands and indexes, a date display at the four o'clock position, and chronograph functions with 60-second, 30-minute, and 1/10-second subdials. This Invicta watch has a black leather strap and precise Swiss-quartz movement. It is water resistant to 1,640 feet (500 M).Subaqua Collection Led with expert engineering, and always ready to face the depths, no feat or occasion will ever be too great for Invictaโs Subaqua to handle. The sheer magnitude of this mighty timepiece is superbly executed with surgical-grade solid stainless steel, Swiss automatic movements, and multiple color options of ionic plating. Managing up to 500 meters of water, finished off with a unidirectional rotating bezel, integrated shock resistance, and Invictaโs luminous Tritnite? hands, the Subaqua is the diverโs definitive in negotiating any adventure by sea or by land. Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

Cool watch, bad support When I received this watch and I tried the stopwatch function, I thought it may be broken because the 1/10 sec counter hand would not move and the center stop-second hand would not return to its 0 position when the stopwatch was reset. Trying to correct the misalignment using the procedure explained at pages 26-27 of the manual didn't work either.
Trying to get support from Invicta was a waste of time. There is no way you can get in touch with a human being to ask questions. You can only register the warranty and file a service case. First problem, the on-line form doesn't have enough space to explain an issue different from the predefined ones. Second, filing a case will only allow you to mail the watch to Invicta for repair at your own expenses and taking 6-8 weeks, which is absurd when you only need to ask for instructions!
I have since learned that the 1/10 counter is only supposed to move when the stopwatch is stopped not while it is running, even though this behavior is not specified in the manual.
I also figured out that the manual is completely wrong about the corrective move and the procedure is quite different:
- when the crown is in position 1 (date setting), you can adjust the minute counter hand using the A button and the stop-second hand using the B button
- when the crown is in position 2 (time setting), you can adjust the 1/10 sec counter hand using the A button
No need to activate the corrective mode in position 2 pressing both buttons for 2 seconds or to press the B button to change hand. The stop-second hand also does not rotate since there is no activation.
So in the end, 5 stars for the watch and 2 stars for Invicta.
The watch itself is lighter on the wrist than you would expect from a watch this chunky. The rubber strap is wide but not too long (so there is almost none sticking out) and the watch actually wears smaller than it looks. It also sit comfortably on the wrist so even people with wrists under 7" can wear it if they enjoy big watches. You can even sleep wearing it without any discomfort. :2011-08-20 13:01:21
It's great This is a great watch. Everything works great, and every hand, whether it's a large hand or a smaller subdial hand, lands right on the indicator marks. Which means to me that it's good quality, and it was assembled correctly. I hate watches where the second hand seems to be tracking half seconds, and i have seen some fairly expensive quartz watches doing that. Maybe the guy who assembled those had a bad hangover or just doesn't see too well.
Anyway, i love this watch!! I usually prefer metal bands, but i really like this band, and obviously you're not going to have any problems with sizing. And the rubber doesn't look cheap, like on some of the digital watches where the rubber looks thin and plastic. It's a good idea to take a look at the band and make sure all the screws are tight, because this is easily adjustable.
I am sorry other people had problems with this one, mine was 100% correct. The picture of the presentation box is not accurate, though. They now come in a smaller box, with no polishing cloth. :2011-08-20 13:00:48
Awesome Purchase This was an awesome purchase!! My husband was looking at this watch while we were in Las Vegas at a jewelry store that was way over priced. I convinced him not to make the investment. When we got home he talked about it nonstop. I searched all over the internet for this watch and finally found it for a fraction of the price on amazon. I didnt tell my husband and just ordered it. A couple days later (literally) it showed up at our door and my husband was floored. He was looking at the all black one in Vegas and I got him the gunmetal one. He loves it even more than the black one. I fully recommend this watch. My husband is a big guy and can pull off a big watch. You can dress it up or wear it casual. Unfortunately I think I just started a fire and we may end up with many more of these great watches! :2011-08-20 13:00:10
